HEEDING THE MYSTERIOUS MESSAGES IN OUR DREAMS .. By Donald Hornsby

Job 33:

14 For God may speak in one way, or in another,
Yet man does not perceive it.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night,
When deep sleep falls upon men,
While slumbering on their beds,

16 Then He opens the ears of men,
And seals their instruction.

One night while sound asleep I dreamed I was in a church where a woman was giving messages from God to the people in attendance. These words were written in the sand in the brown paper bag that she was holding. I got in the line to receive my message from God and when she opened the bag the message in the sand for me said “You should pray more” puzzled I thought to myself “why should I pray more? Then immediately in the sand before my eyes came these words. “Because I said so” I woke from my sleep and knew that God had communicated directly with me through a dream. What’s more when I heeded the dreams advice my life dramatically changed forever.

I am course not alone in this experience. Millions of people the world over know the power and intrigue of a dream. No doubt that is why you have chosen to visit this site today. This passage from the book of Job in Scripture clearly states that when we are asleep God uses dreams to communicate with us. It also says a couple of other interesting things. 1. That we may not perceive what is being said to us. 2. God seals our instructions in dreams. Since every communication from God has significant ramifications for our lives it is imperative that we unlock the mystery and meaning of our dreams. It is crucial that we interpret the messages of our dreams. Dreams found in scripture often came in symbols and pictures that had to be interpreted. Our dreams today also contain symbols and pictures that often need to be interpreted. Using these same
